Paper Treasure is a line of sustainable jewelry created from quality vintage components: abundant with lockets, patined charms and beautifully aged beads. Pieces in this non-seasonal collection have been created individually or in very limited editions. Necklaces are named after actual shipwrecks and come with sweet, little, historical stories.
Paper Treasure designer, Jesseca Mccloskey is inspired first and foremost by the vintage materials that she has collected. She is constantly on the search for old, cast-off jewelry and broken bits to disassemble and transform. Instead of beginning with sketches, her jewelry is created spontaneously from the ever growing piles of beads, charms and chains at hand. Having grown up by the ocean, this designer is ever intrigued by shipwrecks and the prospect of sunken treasure; particulary long-lost jewelry laying amongst the ruins on the ocean floor.
